DIY Garlands for Christmas decor
I think garlands are a great décor accessory, not only for the Christmas season; they are versatile and can fit in any interior design style or room. That is why this year I decided to collect my favourite DIY garland projects and share them with you.
DIY projects can be a great way to be more involve in your Christmas preparation, as well as a fun family activity to put everyone on a Christmas mood. Moreover, as a DIY project it will allow you to create a unique decoration and also have some fun while doing it.
Select the materials, colours and texture that will fit better your room, and create some unique decoration. I can promise you would love it so much, that you won’t want to take them off after the New Year!

Decorate with feathers.
This garland can be very versatile depending the colour and texture of the materials that you choose for the feathers. It can be a great decoration for a kid’s bedroom with some bright colour feather make with faux leather. However, for Christmas décor I would choose some neutral colour faux feather and paint some of them in gold or metallic colour to create the wow factor.

Little pinecones.
A love this idea as it is a really easy DIY garland, perfect to décor any room. Also, you can play with the colours of the pinecones to make it fit your whole Christmas decoration, our leave it natural for a more rustic accessories.

Little star collection
This cute DIY garland it is inspire by the Scandinavian style, it is a really minimalist Christmas accessory that would look pretty in any room without make it to Christmassy. Although, you can decide the size and colour of the starts to make them more subtle or a unique piece of art.

Illuminate with rope.
This is my favourite idea, for its simplicity and originality. I think it would look great by itself as well as combine with the rest of your Christmas decoration. Also, you can find coloured rope, or even painted yourself to create a really original and unique garland that would look amazing in any room.
